• I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you starting the youth orchestra. You have directed the orchestra really well and got an excellent sound out of both the juniors and seniors. I'm sure that as you build on this year's experience, the orchestras will go from strength to strength, and I'm looking forward to working with you and helping to make that happen! I hope you have an enjoyable and restful summer. Thanks again for your vision in starting and leading the orchestra.

  • My daughter was a member of the junior orchestra for (2-3 years) and Reg was her conductor as well as her violin teacher. Reg is not only patient but a teacher who genuinely cares about each of his students. Playing in the orchestra was a valuable experience for her because she learned to appreciate the different instruments and learned that practicing and playing together can create wonderful music. It was a pleasure to see all of their hard work during the concerts.

  • Thank you for the year's of patience and perseverance towards teaching and guiding our children in the FIRST Youth orchestra. You have been amazing mentor to these young children. We can't wait to see you again next year. The performance on last Saturday was outstanding and everyone was amazed on how well these young musicians played. You should be very proud. As parents, we are very proud to see how all of you performed. Kudos to you. With most grateful thoughts and appreciation.

  • I just wanted to send a huge thank you for what you have done with the kids this year. We thoroughly enjoyed the recital on Saturday. Though Kiara struggled to enjoy it at the beginning, she has really enjoyed being in orchestra. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished from scratch.Thanks.

Your guidance lead them to a wonderful higher level for teamwork and harmony. As a result, the concert is so successful and amazing. Michelle can't love this activity any more.ย  Last, we want you to know we will keep supporting you and I believe my daughter will definitively enjoy the orchestra next year. May you have a wonderful day.

  • I think the CYO is very engaging of all the children, you can make new friends that are all around your age, it helps with your private lessons, you practice more and it has a positive impact on children.

  • I like playing ensembles and I enjoy playing with CYO. The CYO members are friendly and the annual retreat camp is quite fun. I look forward to the rehearsals every Friday.

  • When I first joined CYO in grade 9, I wasn't sure what to expect, because it was my first official youth orchestra. I remember being really surprised at the diversity in instruments, as well as the fact that... I got named as the concertmaster, haha. ๐Ÿ™‚ But I was still really shy back then, so I didn't have many friends. But as I kept joining CYO year after year, the members I see all year long became my second group of friends outside of school. I honestly have a lot of fun at every rehearsal, so every Friday is a good day!! I also started to find orchestral pieces much more grand and interesting than playing my violin solo pieces... But anyways, CYO is a rare and enjoyable experience overall, and I never regret joining every year! >w< Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜€
